How does rental car coverage work with TD Insurance if I have to make a claim?
This can vary, depending on the circumstances of the loss and the coverage you have in place at the time the incident occurred.
In the event of a covered loss, which will be confirmed by your Claims Advisor, coverage starts once your vehicle is in for repairs or deemed non-drivable. Coverage ends when your vehicle is repaired, a settlement has been offered, or when your maximum coverage limits have been reached (whichever comes first).
With Grand Touring Solution®, eligible TD Insurance Customers can benefit from the following coverage:
- Up to $5,000 in rental vehicle costs per occurrence
- Coverage for damage to rented vehicles, up to $100,000 per occurrence, subject to a $300 deductible
- Reimbursement for roadside emergency service expenses, up to $100 per occurrence
- We'll waive your deductible in the event of a total loss, or in the event a hit and run
Coverage eligibility rules and conditions apply. TD MyInsurance users can check the status of and manage their auto insurance coverage online at their convenience.
