What should I do if my car gets stolen?

You should call the police immediately to file a report.  Once you've contacted the police, give us a call us right away to open a claim at 1-866-454-8910. When you contact us, make sure you have the following information:

  • Police report number
  • Location of vehicle where last seen
  • Number of keys, and location of keys before and after the theft
  • Description of your vehicle (including mileage and options)
  • A list of any personal items that were in the vehicle when it was stolen.  Some personal items may fall under your homeowner's policy.

If your stolen vehicle has been recovered, please notify us your assigned Claims Advisor right away. To follow your auto claim status, simply log into MyInsurance or contact your Claims Advisor directly for additional information.

Once logged in to MyInsurance, select 'My Claims' and use the expand/collapse function to view the status of your current and previous claims.
