How do I enroll in Safety Alerts?
Any TD Insurance customer that has a MyInsurance account can enroll in Safety Alerts. If you don't have a MyInsurance account, you can create one during the enrollment process.
There are two ways you can enroll in Safety Alerts, which are outlined by device type below.
Enrolling from the homepage
Apple devices:
- Look for a card on the dashboard that says 'Stay protected against severe weather' – tap 'Enroll now' and follow the prompts on screen
- Log in to your MyInsurance account. (If you don't have a MyInsurance account, you can create one at the login screen. You must have a MyInsurance account to enroll in Safety Alerts)
- Turn on notifications to complete your enrollment
Android devices:
- Look for a card on the dashboard that says 'Stay protected against severe weather' – tap 'Enroll now' and follow the prompts on screen

- Tap the menu icon in the top-left corner and select 'Settings'
- Log in to your MyInsurance account. (If you don't have a MyInsurance account, you can create one at the login screen. You must have a MyInsurance account to enroll in Safety Alerts)
- Turn on the toggle for 'Severe Weather & Safety Alerts'
- Follow the prompts on screen
- Turn on notifications to complete your enrollment
Android devices:

Please Note:
If you're enrolled in Safety Alerts but haven't received an alert yet (and feel like you should be), try the following:
- Check your device's notification settings
- Make sure safety alerts are turned on
- Confirm you've added the correct locations
